Ginny Thompson State Farm is seeking a highly motivated Account Manager who thrives in a sales-driven environment and enjoys building strong relationships with customers. Licensing Requirement (Job Contingent)

This position is contingent upon becoming fully licensed.

Property & Casualty license must be obtained prior to Day 1 start in the office (full licensing support provided)

Life & Health license must be obtained within 45 days of starting

We provide full support and guidance throughout the licensing process to help you successfully complete the requirements.

Role Overview

As an Account Manager, you will play a key role in driving agency growth by building strong relationships, conducting policy reviews, identifying coverage gaps, and recommending insurance solutions that protect customers and their families. This role blends customer relationship management with a strong focus on sales production.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain strong customer relationships that support retention and long-term growth

Generate new business through proactive outreach, referrals, and lead follow-up

Conduct policy reviews to identify coverage gaps and cross-sell opportunities

Recommend, explain, and sell insurance products to both warm and cold prospects

Follow up consistently with prospects and clients to convert opportunities into new policies

Resolve customer concerns while maintaining a positive and professional experience

Collaborate with team members to meet individual and agency sales goals

Qualifications

Sales-driven mindset with a strong desire to meet and exceed goals

Strong communication, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills

Confidence leading sales conversations and asking for the business

Prior sales or customer-facing experience preferred

Insurance or State Farm agency experience preferred but not required

Ability to complete licensing requirements outlined above
