Licensing Requirement (Job Contingent)

  • This position is contingent upon becoming fully licensed.
  • Property & Casualty license must be obtained prior to Day 1 start in the office (full licensing support provided)
  • Life & Health license must be obtained within 45 days of starting
  • Our agency provides full support, guidance, and resources throughout the licensing process to help you succeed.

Role Overview

As an Acquisitions Specialist, your primary focus will be generating new business and expanding the agency’s customer base. You will engage with prospective customers, uncover their insurance needs, and confidently recommend coverage solutions that protect what matters most.

Key Responsibilities

Generate new business through proactive outreach, referrals, and lead follow-up

Engage prospective customers through calls, emails, and community networking

Conduct needs-based conversations to identify appropriate insurance solutions

Quote, present, and close auto, home, renters, and life insurance policies

Maintain a strong pipeline of prospects and consistently follow up on opportunities

Track activity and production toward monthly sales goals

Collaborate with team members to support agency growth

Maintain compliance with agency and regulatory procedures

Qualifications

Sales-driven mindset with a strong desire to meet and exceed goals

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

Comfortable initiating conversations and engaging with new prospects

Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple opportunities

Prior sales experience required

Insurance or State Farm experience preferred but not required

Ability to meet the licensing requirements outlined above
